Dr. Gary Michaelson “The most rewarding part of my job is when patients feel better about their smiles, and I had a part in helping them achieve that.” Dr. Michaelson was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1982 at Brandeis University. He then went on to study dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and graduated in 1986. In his days since college he has filled his life with building a family and a dental practice. He is the proud father of two daughters and has been married for 20 years. His oldest daughter, Lauren, is a freshman at the University of Central Florida studying business and hospitality management. His younger daughter Rachel is an honor student at Seminole High School and an accomplished dancer.
In his free time, Dr. Michaelson enjoys spending time at the beach with his family. During college football season he likes to tailgate at UCF and support the Knights, although he is a diehard Gator. His hobbies include skiing, tennis, and traveling. Although he has lived in central Florida for many years, he remains a loyal Boston fan. At least once a year he visits his hometown and attends a Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, or Bruins game. In the 22 years since the practice was established, Dr. Michaelson has dedicated himself to the art and science of dentistry. He prides himself on being able to offer his patients the most conservative, long-lasting, beautiful restorations that dentistry has to offer. He has spent thousands of hours in seminars, study clubs, and other continuing education courses to stay current on advances in his field and master the newest techniques. Dr. Michaelson is certified in Invisalign and is a Six Month Smiles recognized provider. He has completed advanced courses with the following prestigious organizations:
